Activator Method Chiropractic Technique

The Activator is a hand-held instrument used by chiropractors to administer a force into a joint to reduce or eliminate pain and inflammation caused by misalignment or into trigger points of muscle tissue that are tight and sore. This high-velocity low-force instrument uses speed that could not be achieved through manual adjustments and, therefore, can use a much lower force to achieve the same results. The Activator Method is practiced by over 60,000 chiropractors around the world. You can expect to get a similar adjustment by any chiropractor using this method. Dr. Gentry gravitated to this particular technique and became Advanced Proficiency Rated before even graduating from chiropractic college. This technique is excellent for anyone who is scared of the "cracking" noise created by a manual adjustment or those who have a low tolerance for manual adjusting. Thompson Drop Table Technique

Chiropractic adjusting tables come in all shapes, sizes, and styles. The Thompson Drop Table Technique utilizes portions of the adjusting table that lift and then "drop" with slight resistance. The goal is to utilize gravity to administer an adjustment to a joint to provide a more comfortable experience for a patient. It is an especially good technique for low-back and mid-back pain, areas which are sometimes difficult to adjust. Other sensitive regions such as the knees, shoulders, and wrists benefit immensely from being adjusted with this method. Dr. Gentry knows what great results can be achieved using this method and will often recommend it to her patients. Make an appointment today for your spinal health and - Get Adjusted!

Chiropractic Manipulative Technique

Over 90% of chiropractors use some form of manual adjusting to apply a force into a joint in order to reduce or eliminate misalignment which reduces or eliminates pain and inflammation. Dr. Gentry has received post-graduate training in chiropractic neurology through the Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies. They teach an adjusting technique  that focuses on a non-surgical non-pharmaceutical method to enhance neuro-musculo-skeletal function a.k.a. improving your balance. Most injuries are the result of a global dysfunctional movement pattern that can be improved through this style of chiropractic adjusting.
